Lower control asm bushing collar???
Hi everyone,
Hit a curb awhile back and driver side lower control arm (LCA) bushing was in bad shape. Finally got around to ordering the new one but when I went to install the nut wouldnt snug the ballpoint in the spindle. Turns out I’m missing a whole collar piece thingy. My car is a 2013 w akebonos so I automatically assumed that makes it the sport package so I ordered the control arm from Z1 with the sport option.... my question is if I should’ve gotten another control arm or if Z1 maybe sent me the wrong part? I’m gunna call them tomorrow would like to know if maybe I’m missing some information or something? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm having a hard time seeing the pic on my laptop because it's so big. But from what I can tell. The conical piece comes off and goes on the new ball-joint stud. Unless Nissan made a change.

You are correct. It swapped right over with some heavy taps from the hammer. Sorry bout the size. Uploading from the iPhone. As soon as I went to install I noticed my spindle was cracked sadly. I wish there was an aftermarket spindle that looked better. The voodoo one only comes with the angle kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
