I had the stock rubber brake lines on my sport coupe replaced with StopTech stainless-steel lines and StopTech DOT 4 fluid at about 17K miles. There was a noticeable improvement in the pedal feel and I feel better that this fluid is less likely to boil under a heavy braking load, although I'm usually pretty light on the brakes.
