Exclamation Ride Height Help!

Hi everyone,

So I have BC Racing BR Type coil overs on my Z.

I got a defect for ride height and need around another 10 mm to get me above the 100mm clearance.

The coils are already max height so I need some kind of spacer and that’s were I need your help!

Should I look at getting a spacer for the top of the kit to push the wheels 10mm away from the car lifting the height or a thicker rubber spacer for the lager spring?

TLDR; Need an extra 10mm please send help...

Yes, put your stock suspension back on and purchase a Toyota Prius with the blue badges.

pretty sure it'll be easier to find some used stock suspension than whatever the hell you're thinking of doing with your coilovers

Would rather keep the BC Racing coil overs on... bit of a waste getting rid of them when all I need is one more centre meter

No... it was a waste buying coilovers that don't fit. You should start over.

Came with the car when I purchased it... It’s turned into one of those things you find out about when it’s to late haha

The situation sucks, but don't skimp out on proper suspension components. You really don't want something breaking under load or during aggressive driving. Save up and either return suspension to stock or buy another set of coilovers.

So update; turns out both the tyre power and mechanic I took it to who both said it could not be raised we’re wrong...

After meany YouTube videos I had a look my self and there was still an easy 1.5cm I could wind out of the larger spring at the back. Sitting at 10.5mm so we should be good.

TLDR; trust no one but yourself...

Please post pics of your Z. I can't be the only one who wants to see your ride height after you got the coilovers straightened out.
