Default Clunking noise after new Knoi Yellow install

As the title suggests, I'm hearing a clunking noise after replacing all struts and shocks on my Z with brand new Koni Yellows. I only hear it going over bumps and it sounds like it's coming from the front driver side or the driver side of the car all together.

Side note, I did tell my mechanic to loosen the front and rear sway bar and sway bar links and then tightening them back to spec so I can switch them out for the Stillen front and rear adjustable sway bars later when I go to Willow Springs in a few weeks. I wanted them broken loose because I tried getting them off on my own and I swear it was Superman that tighten those nuts.

What is your guess on what's making that clunking noise? My guess is the strut mount but then again, my car only has less than 24,000 miles.

Since we’re just guessing here, I say the swaybar endlinks are not tight.

Would that really only make noise only when going over bumps?

That is basically what it sounds like from that video. I'm taking it back to them to check it out

That's what I thought and I called the guy and he said "Yes it's installed properly and they looked it over". I don't trust his word since he's just the owner of the shop and not one of the mechanics that actually installed the new struts. He said I could bring it back and they take a look at it and remove/install everything

“Remove and install everything”? What?!

Oh boy. He sounds pissed, or stupid. Good luck. Might be worth trying to tighten things up if you have a torque wrench.

You were right! One of the old mechanics drove it over the speed bump just to get out of the garage and immediately knew it was the sway bar endlinks. He didn't even bother to drive it around the block like he planned, he just pulled right back into the lift and started tightening everything. Makes me feel more confident when the older mechanics are working on my car than the younger ones. The guy that helped him was a younger kid which I assume with way less experience than the older gentleman.

I was going to but one of the older mechanics called me and he was the one that said he'll take a look at it and fix anything because it wasn't doing that before. You can tell the guy has more integrity than the owner.
