Default suspension upgrade or refresh?

hello all

got a 11 sport + touring that just passed 100k recently, and my first upgrade was going to be suspension.

seeing as i dont really know how the car was previously treated, would replacement of all the suspension wear components be called for? by that i mean, shocks, springs, bushings, etc, or should i just go for my original plan of just upgrading my shocks/springs? was planning on going with koni yellow + swift spec-r's

looking forward to all your input!

My 2011 suspension has over 100K miles and is still fine even after plenty of hard driving.

Chances are you don't really need to replace any of it. Unless you plan to track it.

Unless you plan on doing some aggressive driving with your Z like seat time at the track you probably don’t need to upgrade your suspension unless one of your suspension components fail or has unwanted wear. Are you planing on lowering your Z?

I'd recommend just inspecting all the components to make sure theyre all in good condition.
I just purchased a set of Koni shock/struts in the fronts, ONLY because my front struts were leaking oil so I figured they need to be replaced anyway, why not upgrade to the best. If it wasn't for the struts leaking, I would have left them alone and put the money elsewhere. Many guys have 120k+ miles still on original parts for their suspension, don't assume that it's all beat up just because it's 100k+.

Over 90k on my 2011 base sport... Still has the factory alignment. I haven't let any shop screw it up. Wheels wear perfectly, car handles awesome. I'd bet your suspension is just fine. But... I haven't hit anything either.

If you currently have OEM, an upgraded suspension, alignment, and tires will make a huge difference compared to what you have now. You will have more fun driving it.
