Default Camber adjustment mystery

Just had my Z aligned-mysteriously front camber was adjusted from -1.47 and -1.52 to specs -0.53 and -0.29 correspondingly
Nissan dealership did the job. Car is lowered about 20 mm

How did they manage that if front camber is not adjustable? Toe correction was minimal-not sure if I was just ripped off and car wasn't even on the rack?

I do not go to dealership but I just got a set of new RS4 and was going to autocross in few days..my regular shop was booked for 2 weeks in advance

Thank you for any input

Maybe some old industry trick, where techs will lean on the car, push down or lift up the car a little to get the reading they need. Maybe suspension arm bushings have a little play, enough to get the within-spec reading in a static state.

There is a simpler way to do it. Have 2 guys just pull down and hold on front alignment heads towards positive camber while other one prints it. Over the years I've seen guys do it. I assume the tech was not aware of the drop and wanted the alignment print out to look nice and green for you OP...

Talking

Adjusting the toe can change the camber some. The more caster you have. The more it changes.

I send obnoxious email to service manager...don't really care about the issue, but its too hot outside and I am bored. Lets see what he comes back with.

Smile

Going Positive on Camber; will also make toe more positive.
Lean them in & they'll turn out...Pull them upright & they will turn in.
Those 2 adjustment will affect one another.
