So I’ve changed out probably 50 rotors in my life time and never had a problem. But I can’t get these rear 2piece rotors to fit, has anyone installed them

Z1 2 piece install problem
So I’ve changed out probably 50 rotors in my life time and never had a problem. But I can’t get these rear 2piece rotors to fit, has anyone installed them and had a problem? I can’t see what it’s hitting and I think it might be the brake shoes themselves... e-brake is all the way down idk what gives

Please elaborate. Is the bolt pattern correct? Is the center bore correct? Did you get the correct rotors (Sport/Akebono)?

Ok well you didn't specify front or rear or give any real detail of your issue but it sounds like your having issues getting the rear over the parking brake shoes?
Is so then you need to turn the ratchet adjuster in until you can fit the rotors over the drum pads. |

If you are talking about the rear rotors, you will need to adjust the e-brake shoes. This will allow the top-hat to slide over the shoes. Once you get it on, you will then need to adjust the e-brake shoes again for proper operation. So, adjust the star wheel as needed.

Old rotors fit fine, I did specify rear sorry it wasn’t clear. I didn’t know they could be adjusted... when I look from different angles it doesn’t look like it’s hitting the shoes but maybe it is... bolt pattern is fine it just barely goes on maybe 1/4” .... I’ll have to look up how to adjust up rear shoes. I knew it had to be something I was missing, never had to adjust rear shoes before
