Will this keep brakes quiet?
Car: 2013 Touring+sport pkg.
Story: There is an awful lot of screeching when I brake. Figured I wanted to get slotted rotors all around and a set of quiet brake pads. Research tells me these centric pads are the quietest vs stoptech/hawks. https://www.z1motorsports.com/brakes...ds-p-3975.html Those are the current brake pads I'm looking at. And here are the rotors I'm looking at. https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...no-p-4517.html Or should I just order this z1 brake package? https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...ge-p-4490.html They look to be the exact same rotors/pads, but in a package deal. |

When talking brakes, you need to state how you drive and what you want...
4 main levels: Track (more noise / lots of dust) Max Performance (minor noise / lots of dust) Better than stock (no noise / some dust) Stock (normal driving / Low dust)

Unfortunately, what you're looking for is really hard to find. If you want better than stock performance, you'll have to deal with more noise or dust. For a daily driver, the OEM pads are pretty good.

Just go to the Nismo Pads (Nissan Semi-Metalic) good for 600F. It's a step up without too many drawbacks.

I used red stuff and they were quite. They dusted a bit but after they had some ware the dust settled down.

I'm running stoptech street pads for a couple of weeks now... OEM rotors. So far no squealing, performance seems on par or a little better than OEM.
