Default Will 2009 Akebono calipers fit a 2016 370?

Quick question, guys.

I am considering buying a set of new old stock Akebono brake calipers. The calipers are in seemingly new condition, but they may be up to 7 years old.

Is there an issue with brakes that have sat unused for so long?

I assume these calipers would fit a 2016 touring model z?

Many thanks!

The age is less an issue than the miles and condition

The akebonos are the same throughout the life of the 37
But why would you get used set for your brand new car ?

Depends how much he is getting them for. Worst case he just buys a rebuild kit which is still a lot less than new calipers.

Thanks for the answer. The calipers I'm looking at are new, but they are old stock. I believe they are calipers that were made in the 2009-2012 timeframe but were never used.

Thanks again.

I plan on doing be same (not akebonos) but at least here in Canada buy a new z is 29,000 for the base or 43,000 for the sport..... ya 14,000$ for that 14,000 I'll put an actual bbk and boost it. The price jump is nuts
