Default Time for some Brakes

My Z is due for some brakes, I am looking at the Z store and they have some Stop Tech Drilled slotted brakes.

Can anybody let me know any experience with the Disc Brakes and if they have them installed.

Recommendations would be great as well.

I would personally go with slotted only.

Disc brakes as opposed to drum brakes? Disc brakes come standard on modern cars

But seriously... you can pretty much put whatever you want on there. On the street, cheap blanks from AutoZone will generally work just as well as StopTech drilled and slotted rotors. I'm running EBC USR slotted front rotors and have been very happy with them. Z1's rotors are inexpensive as well, and I like supporting quality forum sponsors. If you want some weight savings, go with 2-piece rotors - I like that Z1 has both front and rear 2-piece rotors (though the rears are more expensive due to the integration of the parking brake drum). They have options for blank, slotted, sprinkle slotted, or drilled and slotted - pick whatever look you like best. Personally, I would avoid drilled and slotted if tracking.

I prefer slotted, unless the rotors are cast pre-drilled. Anyway, I get my rotors and Hawk pads from from R1 Concepts. But yeah, you have disk brakes on your Z all around.

I'd stick with blanks. The OEM ones are fine and cheap in comparison. Spend your money elsewhere.

LOL what I meant to say was experience with stop tech disc brakes. I will go to the Z1 website and check out some of their slotted discs. I do not track my Z so I will see what they have available.

Thanks guys/gals
