Default Rear Sway Bar Install Question

I was looking at the DIY pics for the rear sway bar install and came across a couple of problems this weekend. I've got a Nismo finned diff cover so I can't jack from there and I have a invidia Gemini so I can't find a place for the jack stands that won't leave the weight of the car on the springs. Can I still maneuver the rear sway bar on and off the end links and mounting points with the suspension compressed or do I need to find another place to put the stands? Any help appreciated.

Put the stands where they belong, in front of the rear tires on the frame. I lift mine by using the hole in the jack and putting the rear subframe bolt down in the hole and lifting. I have no other option and it works. And no you'll need to uncompress everything.

I have the Nismo finned diff cover and still use the diff as a jack point. The key is to make sure the jack is lifting on the flange of the diff and cover and not the fins.

And as syno said there are good jack stand points right in front of the rear wheels on the frame.
JARblue and synolimit like this.
