Highly Recommended! POWERTRIX Sport Street Coilovers with Swift Springs
I just wanted to share my review and impressions of this suspension setup that I had on my 5th 370Z. I basically lease a new Z every year. I've had a couple Nismo's and on my 2014 I had Charles(super nice guy and really knowledgeable) from POWERTRIX in San Diego lower the car and set up the suspension to what he recommended.
I originally wanted it mostly because of the looks it with it lower and then with having the wheels spaced out. The ride on a stock Nismo is noticeably more firm than a sport version. Since it was being lowered a considerable amount I was expecting a harsher ride but I was really surprised immediately after I got the car back and drove it hard. It felt like it drove much smoother soaking up the imperfections on the road and much more grounded taking the corners and this was in its softest setting. The shocks are widely adjustable with an allen key at the top of each. I was really, really impressed with the handling and quality of the ride. There are many really nice roads and mountains to carve up here like Palomar and to Borrego Springs for example to test the suspension out further. I experimented a only a little with adjusting the suspension because it already handled amazingly and gave a lot of confidence with knowing the limit. I wasn't able to get this car on the track but I still did manage to drive the hell out of it on public roads out in the twistys. I'm sure on the track with the proper adjustment it would be even better. For me having the car looking right lowered and using it as a daily driver with the occasional spirited runs these were perfect! This is what I had on my car: POWERTRIX (SS) Sport Street Coilovers Swift Springs – Front 12kg/mm , Rear 10kg/mm (OEM position rear spring with adjustable seat) Rear 11K Swift Springs are Proprietary to POWERTRIX 15 way damper adjustable mono tube shocks. Website link https://www.powertrix.com/z34/z34ss Special thanks and Big props to Charles and his team they are really nice people and they can get your car back to you the next day or even possibly same day if you don't want to swap it out yourself. I just wanted to give him a little advertising and say thanks for really making my car better and for the positive experience. Some before and after pics |

Looking good Randy! Come a long way from that axle-back exhaust on the Magma Red Z.

Powertrix Coilovers are really nice and work really well, they are my number one recommendation in coilovers, next level up is the Penske coilover it is really tough to beat the performance and money on these coilovers.
