Default StopTech Pads rusted to my rotors

I washed my Z Friday evening and then pulled it in my garage and didn't drive it for the rest of the weekend. Today I had bad vibration under braking. I looked at my rotors and this is what I found. I usually have some surface rust on my rotors after I wash my car and let it sit. The rust wears away on my first stop but this may take a while. For now on I'm going to drive it after I wash it then park it.

Lemme guess...

You drove like a bat out of hell, then stopped and parked the car?

No, rotors were cold, washed the car and then left it parked for the weekend.

It won't be an issue. It is about normal. They will just make noise for a bit until the rust wears off. Did it scare you when it made a clunk when you tried to pull off?

I've had the pads stick to the rotors before but this left a rough spot on the rotors that caused bad vibration under braking. It seems to be slowly wearing off.

5 stops from 60mph to 20mph one after the other and a 10 minute drive to cool it all down and it will be sweet.

I just noticed the same thing on my car. I have stock everything though. The trick is to drive the car after you wash it so that the water does not sit between the rotor and pad which obviously leads to deep rusting.
