Default Powertrix R/T Coilover Review

I've had these installed for about two months now, so it's about time for a review. First off, my goal for this car is to find the "happiest" compromise I can between a drift car and daily driver. When I e-mailed Powertrix to discuss the build, I was surprised to get a response back from Charles, the owner. He answered all my questions and helped me decide on which model (S/S, R/T, or U/T), and what spring rate. I wound up going with his suggestion of R/T with the swift spring upgrade, 12k/11k. They arrived quickly, and they look great. Surprisingly, I've found these coil-overs to be more comfortable than stock, while still improving handling. The adjust-ability is great, and while there are only 15 settings for dampening, each click gives a noticeable difference.

I would go more in depth, and I would of taken pictures during the install, but there's a few other reviews on here that did that, so why be redundant? Just wanted to give my POV on the coil-overs, and say thank-you again to Charles for helping me out, and supplying a great product.

I agree. I dealt with Charles and ended up with the S/S with Swift spring upgrade. I had Swift lowering springs before and the Powertrix set up feels better.

Just finished my first track day at Summit Point on the R/T 13k/11k swift spring upgraded coilovers. They worked phenomenally. Next up is the tail of the dragon

I can't decide on which coilovers... I've been looking at fortune auto w/swift. Also, tail of the dragon May 9th-10th!

Contact Mr. Park at Powertrix. Last I checked, he is currently offering group buy pricing on all 370z coilovers. With group buy pricing, R/T with swift upgrade is around 1450.

Crux hit it, $1450, I normally wouldn't say or confirm a price, but the group buy had it listed on the forum and on their website. They are definitely worth the full price, which I think was near $2k, so the group buy is a great deal.

Great so far. Feels more comfortable than stock, but of course stock had 70,000 miles on them. While I haven't had other brands of coil overs in the 370z, I can say that out of the lowered 350s and 370s I've been the passenger in, these are the best ride, and still improve handling. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them again for dd.

A lot of the 240SX guys at track have started using power trix. They have good things to say, and based on my buddies N/A 4 times, I say they are doing the job. Seem to be on par with B/C's etc. Have only heard good things about them.
