Default Those many silicon filled bushes

Did my third oil change today @ 11525 miles. Whilst under there I give the vehicle a good seeing to , inspecting most items.

Well, noticed the front sway bar bushes appear to have leaked silicon . I'm thinking this is relatively normal as on my first oil change the other bushes further back (forgot name ) also looked as if they had leaked.

I dont believe those bushings are silicone filled. That is more likely grease from assembly that is working its way out. If those bushings were not greased they would make a creaking sound as the sway bars moved. You may even have to grease them in the future if they get noisy. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the reply. Its something definitely making its way out. As the car gets older I'm see more of this. Drives good though.
Reason I thought it was silicon was it wasn't oily.

They are NOT silicone filled. Just a rubber bushing.

IIRC, the one on top of the differential is silicone-filled. Don't know about any others. FSM/CourtesyParts/&c should have that info.
