Default Will 3M mounting tape damage my windshield?

Hey guys I'm just trying to do some quick R&D here. I have a dashcam that I would like to mount behind the rear view mirror. Our windshields are small so having a dashcam anywhere else makes it noticeable. The only problem is that behind the rear view mirror is the antennae and those black dots. If I put 3M double-sided mounting tape on this black area, will it damage those when I try to remove the 3M tape later on?

If any additional info is needed such as pics just let me know and I will post some. Thanks.

I've done the same with no issues. I also have put up an toll transponder with extra strong Velcro and had no problems. Velcro isn't ideal for the camera, however, because it allows for more vibration.

You should be fine.
