Default Want to Add Backup Camera to 2009 OEM Navigation System

I have a 2009 370z with factory navigation. I would like to add a backup camera.

I understand I will need to add a Nav Tool. I see they are now on sale for $170.00 here, NISSAN 370Z 2009 NavTool video interfaces

I just have a couple of questions.

1. Where is the best place to buy the proper backup camera. I would like to retain an OEM look in the rear. I want to maintain the two license plate lights while having a backup camera.

Thanks.

Hi Tiger,

There are a lot of good threads about this, use the search function for the forum and then choose the thread you like the best. It's a very old question, haha. There is a good solution to all of those problems on EBay. Adapter is 200 USD and rear camera to fit the car is about 35 USD or so. I've done the mod following instructions from here. My backup camera was listed on ebay as for a Fairlady Z backup camera. It somewhat occludes the left rear License plate light but it's workable. You also will find a thread where one guy mounted the backup camera in the little square hole/plug thing on the rear of our bumper (center lower of bumper).
