Hey! Help on my setup?

As Ron said you don't need a spare battery, for a sub and amp as well as head unit 500 is a bit tight. Polk db's are a great budget

As Ron said you don't need a spare battery, for a sub and amp as well as head unit 500 is a bit tight. Polk db's are a great budget speaker ad you are correct JL is expensive and I am not really a fan of them for that price point. Basic speakers on the car market are 4 ohms so you don't need to really worry about that, subs are a different story. I did a write up under the thread car audio 101 about that. I'd recommend either running your new speakers off a new head unit or running a 5 channel amp giving you 4 channels bridged to 2 for more power as well as a 5th for a sub.
