I bought this and replaced the 12v power in the armrest (i never used it anyway). The result is factory looking and if I'm charging my phone or listening to music i can hide it away. It was a pain to get the 12v power out of there though...

I've always wondered why they put a channel for the wire to exit the storage area, but there is no where to put the mobile device while charging? Usually there is a drink in the drink holder and if you put the mobile device on the console or the seat it flies allover the place. Just weren't thinking....

I have mine on an extension that I just dropped out underneath the center console. I made a custom mount for my phone and am able to use the console 12v port to power my phone without it looking like a Frisbee flying all over the place!

Im leaning towards putting my wired usb in the glove box, although I do like the center console setups.

I have the elbow rest little drawer tray thing in mine, so I pulled out the iPod plug socket and moved the entire harness and plug and iPod beneath the drink holder, so now my iPod is not seen and can't be found casually looking, even if they lift the drink tray. It's nice to have another place to set a drink, the door drink slots are for bottle water only.
When I need to update the music, I just pull out the drink holder/seat heater switch and pull the iPod Touch out. Sorta stealth. |

I did similar to H20Doc but instead of the arm rest i put mine in the center cubby above the stereo. those USB plug in cables are not that expensive and work great.

Glovebox. I guess cuz I use a thumb drive to play music. Makes things easier cuz no plugging and unplugging unless I'm updating music. If i really need to charge the phone theres always the cig lighter.
