First i apologize if this has been addressed.
Putting a rear view camera when i put in my kenwood. My understanding is i can connect the power wire from the camera to the orange reverse wire from the trunk. Once done, all I have to run to the head unit is the rca. However, on the headunit there is a wire for back up camera. Do i need to connect that to anything if i'm already pulling power from the trunk? Im assuming its similar to an amp turn on and therefor needs to be connected to something to trigger a video feed.
