Default Connecting to Nissan Bluetooth

Has anyone connected an Android phone with the stock Nissan nav through bluetooth? I'm trying to get Pandora to work through bluetooth. I can connect the phone and the phone is shown as connected to the nav unit but I'm stumped as to how to stream music. The salesman at the dealership had no clue either.

With certain phones you have to go back to the bluetooth settings and select the phone and pair it again as an audio device. This was the case with my G2; I paired it for bluetooth phone calls and then had to pair it again for audio. However, with my new Nexus 4, it paired for both calls and audio on first pairing.

Hope that helps.

Now if I can just figure out how to get it to tell me who is calling based on my address book when I have an incoming call...

Also, make sure you've gone into the Pandora settings and checked the stream audio through bluetooth option. I'm not well versed with the OEM Nav in the 2013, but it does support a2dp bluetooth protocols for audio streaming, so your phone should show up as an audio source in the unit. It doesn't just automatically play- you have to put the unit on the specific input.

I would also try more than just the Pandora app- try with google play music, etc.

Press the Disc-Aux button until you see Bluetooth on the nav screen. You can pair your Android phone to the Bose from there. Once paired the stock Android music player will usually start playing when the two connect and can be controlled from the steering wheel.

Edit: press settings, go to Bluetooth and pair your phone to the Bose from there.
