Question Just got some audio items...What else do I need?

I just got a few things & just wanting to know what else do I need to start setting up. I just really want a better sound quality to listen to my music. Should I take out the stock head unit and put an aftermarket? No double din just looking for a single if that will help the sound... I heard it does what yal think? ( I dont plan on using the digital capacitor fyi, got the wire kit for free and want to have my amp punching at its fullest potential...its only an 8' inch) Thanks

Head unit will make a WORLD of difference, but buy it before you do any install.

Throw the cap away that came with the kit. You will either need a LOC or a new head unit to feed a signal from the head unit to your new amp. Also make sure you run new speaker wire for all your speakers.
