Default My concealed subwoofer install

Personally I wasn't pleased with any sub enclosures that are offered. Also the bose sub in the spare wheel just wasn't cutting it. Here's an idea for those who want a little more bass to their overall average bose system, while maintaining a stock looking Z.

- JL amp 250W

Thanks, I made the box out of fiberglass. It's roughly 900in cubed, more then enough air for that sub.

Nice.
I've thought of trying something similar.

Did you end up leaving the stock Bose Bass in as well or did you just replace them with this new setup?

I'm thinking of leaving the stock ones in and adding additional speakers.

I just kept the bose in place, with both subs running. Now it sounds up to par.

Possibly, there is plenty of room but the original bose amp gets extremely hot. I would be careful where its placed. With two of those subs the carpet would be bouncing

Nice job, Looks very much like our enclosure with less volume. It should be good for a 10" though. I take it you liked atleast one enclosure out there before you built that one

Nice job.

I know I'm several years late on this but has anyone else done anything similar to this? I was thinking of two 6.5" subs and two 6.5" component speakers in that space and mount the amps under or behind the seats.
