Not both look tacky. If you really want to do it right workshop 12 did a full custom kit.

+1. It'll look clean and OEM and they are constantly active and providing software updates for their brainiac app.

i would, but not for the outrageous prices they're charging for a few pieces of plastic.

It's way more then a piece of plastic, it's R&D, building their own integration to can bus and programming. Plus the ability to remove the android tablet and take it with you. I'm sold, getting one for my G37, sense I tried the horrendous Tesla style screen.

Yeah this unit blocks the climate control which is probably why the original poster didn't ask about it.
