Default Door speaker replacement advice

Hey Z family! Looking for some advice, I have been looking to replace my base Z's speakers. I have a kenwood head unit that I installed and I'd like to find some inexpensive speakers to replace my stock door ones. I'm not much of an audiophile, but I'd like to only add new speakers without having to attach amps, subs and whatnot. Any recommendations out there would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Have these sitting in a box waiting for more parts before installing,

https://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-OPTI6P.../dp/B0039QL8L2

Came recommended from a thread on here, cheap but sound good.

I'd imagine you'd need an amp to push those Lanzars, no? The RMS rating (if accurate... though seems really high) is 10 times what the kenwood HU puts out.

Efficiency (AKA sensitivity) (usually given as dB @ 1W measured at 1 meter) is the important factor.

Max power ratings (usually given in WRMS) tell how much power the speaker/driver can handle, not how loud it will get for a given power input.

I make a spacer up and threw in some 6x9's in the space of the stock door speakers. To be honest I think they were kenwood speakers but it was like two years ago and I kinda forgot what they were. They didnt require an amplifier. I rememeber the audio guru around here saying putting 6x9's in the door was kinda pointless because of something about the soundscape of what the 6x9's offer more than the stock speakers but I had them laying around so

Based on recommendations from others on this forum, I installed Focal Access 165 component speakers a few days ago. They sound fantastic!

Replacing the stock speakers in the door and tweeters in the dash typically requires some time and thought, because a crossover is required. The stock speakers have the crossover built-in, while the replacement component speakers have an separate crossover about the size of a pack of cigarettes that must be wired to each speaker. This means running new speaker wire to the tweeters and possibly the doors.

You will also need to purchase or make adapter plates for mate the new speakers to the stock mounting holes. I bought adapters from MJM Auto Innovations.

Still love the focals as a good choice, right behind the hertz hsk165 that are now replaced with the ESK165

Did my research and bit down on Focal, will never go back it's so crisp and clear it's insane I went with the expert series PS 165 FX's and it blows me away. I paired this up with with XD1000/5v2 JL amp and a 10w3v3 sub in the wickedcas trunk box to keep space and it's beautiful. After I installed I went and got the audio tuned and it's been heaven ever since. The crossovers aren't too hard just read the instructions a few times and it will be pretty clear. you will need a 5channel amp if you go that route but the clarity is out of this world. I know you said inexpensive basic kicker speakers or anything at best buy should hold you over while being a decent uptick from stock paper speakers these have.
