I'm a little late to the party but, higher end speakers can be worth it DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU WANT. Also it would be a good idea to amp them.

I'm a little late to the party but, higher end speakers can be worth it DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU WANT. Also it would be a good idea to amp them. Focal is more for the audio file and seeing that you have 2 12's you really want something that will keep up with them in the decibel levels. Your JL's are a good choice
Also if you have blown speakers already, i'd highly recommend you get your gains set properly and make sure you aren't using things like bass boost and LOUD settings, these can send clipped or boosted signals to your speakers causing damage to them.
