I would like to get some feed back on this unit. I have the Bose with Nav. I'm trying to decide between the Audio control dq-61 and the bit 10.

audison Bit 10
I would like to get some feed back on this unit. I have the Bose with Nav. I'm trying to decide between the Audio control dq-61 and the bit 10. Although I want good sound I don't want to waste money on products that I really don't need. I'm looking for helpful advice.
Thanks |

The bit 10 is a fantastic unit, and provides you with much more eq options. I don't know a single person that has one that is not happy with it. Your adjustments must be made via laptop, and the remote dash control is an optional accessory.
I cant speak of the audio control piece, I do not have first hand experience. I Do know they make a great product, though, having used and installed many, many of them in the past.

There is a shop here in Atlanta that sells them for about 400.00. I also spoke with Audio control via email. And after speaking the Car audio shop the owner said the the DQ-61 and the bit ten were equal in his opinion. He said the bit 10 took a little more time to tune. So as of right now I'm leaning towards the DQ-61. Thanks for the input. Next I guess I need help figuring out the wires to connect for everything.

Dq61 has 7 eq bands for each output Bit 10 has 31 eq bands for each output If they are in the same ball park price wise where you are, its an easy choice. If you like to keep things simple (which many do) the Dq61 may be right for you.

I went with the DQ-6. Although its just a weekend driver I did want to improve the sound of the factory system. I did not like the look of the interior with out the Nav. I had so many shops try and talk me into replacing it and going with a better aftermarket unit. With that being said I plan on making the DQ-61 work for me right now. Thanks for the input.
