Definitely doesn't sound like it was installed properly. I did mine myself and have no static.

If you have static all the time, I suspect bad signal wiring going into the power amp.

Take it back and make them do it right or take it to another shop that is competent enough to make it right.

There's lots of threads on this. I suggest using the search function. Or just use Google search and add the following text before your search string: site:the370z.com
Are you going to try to fix it yourself? I guess you could find the info and take it back to the shop to let them know what they messed up. But if they're not competent enough to do it right the first time, you might want to consider just taking it to another shop.

I wouldn't try it. You may bone things up even further, then your S.O.L. Let the shop do the repair.

Sounds like they used the wrong harness and are feeding speaker level inputs into your bose amp, you need the harness with RCA wires on the end to integrate into the bose amp. It's either that or a bad ground....trust me I have had a few z's come to be with poor grounds such as installers grounding the head unit to itself SMH.
