Where to buy navigation buttons harness?
Looking for a plug with pigtail that fits this:
The picture is the backside of navigation buttons for a nav trim Z. Been searching thru the service manual, no luck yet. Hoping I can find it without buying an entire harness. Thanks. |

Keep searching the manual. It should be in there.

The FSM will have the generic code for the connector. Do a web search for that number. Same place that has connector should also carry the required connector pins.
The connectors/pins are usually easy to find but are often sold in lots of 100+ units.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to get the official name which is 'Multifunction Switch'. Here's details on the connector, TH16FW-NH. My google game is weak right now, can't seem to find anything online for sale (even in bulk)

What section did you find that in? I am looking for pin outs on a few connectors. I can find the connector and the power pin location but not the full pin out like you have above.
TIA

Thanks SouthArk. Emailed a vendor in China yesterday. They just got back willing to do 5 pieces for $2 a pop. Another idea for anyone else is to ask for a sample if only need one and they aren't willing to sell only one.
And Gale, I was using the 2012 version of FSM. |

Sounds like a great price for a small order. Congrats on finding it. Don't forget the pins. A crimping tool (to attach wiring to pins) and a pin extractor (for when you screw up and need to remove a pin from the connector) are VERY useful when putting the pins/connector together. You can get by with some pliers and a jeweler's screwdriver but the job becomes much more difficult.

I downloaded a more recent FSM. The plugs I'm looking at do not have the pins identified for function, they do show colour though. Looks like I'll have to meter them. Thanks for your help

Now find pins for the the big connector going to the doors so people can run big speaker wire without drilling a hole through the connectors. =)
