Pioneer and Samsung Galaxy s6 edge... play nice?

Hi all.

I have a Pioneer 2600avh BT touchscreen radio. It worked just fine (Bluetooth and iPod/Pandora) with the radio when connected to the USB.

I just got a galaxy s6 edge and my radio hates it.. I connect via USB I get an error on the radio... Bluetooth is random whether it will connect or not. If Bluetooth connects.. it will play audio/phone thru that area only...

To get the usb to work.. I have to turn off the radio.. plug in the phone.. then roll the dice whether it recognizes the audio format or not (it does sometimes)...

Is there a trick I am missing? In the radio settings.. it still says USB connection = iPhone... it will not reset the connection or get it to say android what so ever..

Also.. should I use Pioneers APPRADIO ? I downloaded it..but it would not communicate with my radio..
