Default Mounting Sub Amp & Capacitor

I am going to be putting in a sub in my 13 Z soon and was looking for ideas on where to mount my amp and capacitor. Anyone have pictures and ideas on where I can mount these? I have an idea but I don't think it is a good one.

DO NOT mount either to the vertical surface behind the seats. That's the gas tank behind those!!

The installers put a board under the carpet behind the passenger seat in my install. All is well...the installers talked me out of it stating the capacitor is a waste of money, but buy better cables instead. These amp are so efficient that the caps are no longer needed.

Very clean install ! Very powerful amp 200x4 and 600x1 for sub.@ 2ohms

JYour amp has all the capistance it needs built in. Caps are nice to look at, but that's about it. An extra battery would serve much better, but you would have to be using a monster amp to dent the z's charging system. That, and the fact that HID lights are ballast controlled helps eliminate headlight dimming.

Phoenix Gold Amp>>>> this is the exact amp I purchased. All in 1 solution @ 5 channels, not cheap at $850.00 retail.. It is mounted behind the seat...again a board was mounted against the wall UNDER the carpet. The amp is thin as you can see...and just requires 1 click forward on the seat to avoid contact on the passenger seat and allow for good cooling.

I went all Phoenix Gold...except my head unit, Pioneer 8100

RonRizz is correct , when pushing my system, the amp meter on top of dash barely moves. Some deep hits on bass it may go down 2-3 amps at best for a second or 2.

1) If placing a capacitor on the power input actually does any good, you have a problem (alternator, wiring, battery, &c) that needs to be fixed. Power caps are the fix-a-flat of audio.

2) A cap big enough to do much good in a high-power system is dangerous. At 12-15V, it probably won't kill you but it can produce skin burns.
