Question for the Gurus
I got a Pioneer Appradio 3 and am wondering what else, if anything, I 'll need to pick up in order to make my steering wheel controls work with the new HU

I don't know what either of those are. I was under the impression that there's an additional piece I need to buy in order to make them work

yep, that's the module. depending on the model year u need to figure out which wires to tap to make the modules work.
bigaudiofanat is a good source for info. i used a PAC on my Z. |

either one will work... there is a stickied thread about the axcess in this forum as well.
be sure to get your antenna adapter also.....

I purchased the Axcess to use with my Pioneer 8100 , they couldn't get it to work correctly after many failed attempts..they decided to go with the Pac...universal...it works flawlessly, scan ,seek, Bluetooth mode , SD card...also using USB 1 and 2 , HD radio and Apple Radio, volume ect.
They pointed out that the 8100 was new and may not be fully compatible...at the moment. I still have the Axcess...I paid 80 bucks for it, I'll sell it to you for a deal or anybody else who needs one just PM me. |
