Man, this is tempting. It seems to get the low-mid to mid power and top end.

actualy it does not.
you lose a little bit down low and some mid as per their testing.

again this is a normal HR intake Manifold which has longer intake runner Vs the VHR intake ,
Longer runner vs short runner is = more Mid-power Vs top end

now their testing was with an unmodified HR Vs a modified VHR which already has an advantage in the top end 7000+rpm Vs the HR which their advantage is the mid-range

unless you are running most of your time in the 7000+rpm, a similar modified HR intake manifold will yeild better result.

dont get me wrong , im not bashing their work.

Yeah, it's hard to make out with so many lines, but after looking closer, it seems like there is some mid-range loss and mainly just gains up top. That's why I asked for a simplified averaged runs comparo graph so we can see what is actually happening throughout the range.

It's hard to tell which lines are which, but if we know m370 makes low - mid power over stock, than this does too, but not as much and has better top.

edit: let me clarify. We know the Z1 mod will make power in low, mid and top over stock, but low - mid is not as good as M370. We need a M370, Z1 and stock best run graph to actually see all of this.

A Normal HR modified did not yield better numbers. We tested that set up when performing our manifold tests.

ok,

it did not yield better result , where?
if you say the top end 6800+rpm then its normal , but I would be very interested to see an actual graph with both HR / VHR modified as you do.

If I get some time I'll be happy to test it. However at this moment there are a few more pressing things on the plate and this may have to be on the back burner a bit, as there is testing being performed with many of our prototype products on the company car.
