These hoses will fit all VQ37VHR equipped cars. As well as the older G35's equipped with the VQ35HR engines.

The DIY on this would be too trivial to bother posting. It's like, remove 4 hose clamps, replace two hoses, tighten 4 hose clamps, done. Removing the undertray to reach the lower hose (much like you do for an oil change) would be more challenging than the hose swap itself. Probably the trickiest aspect will be draining and refilling your radiator fluid without making a mess.

I think it is weird that in the system they still call the older G's with the VQ35HR a V36 chassis code vs the older V35 designation. I can see that and the '09 350Z convertibles getting confusing later on down the road.

The service manual is available in PDF on this forum, in the subforum about service manuals and such. The procedure for draining and filling the engine coolant starts around page 7 of CO.pdf (which is the Engine Cooling section). It's not hard

You can just reuse the old fluid correct? Or is that the time to upgrade to... better fluid?

Radiator fluid is cheap anyways, it would be prudent to refill with fresh stuff. Besides, I see you're in AZ.. does it get very cold there? If you can get away with the loss of freeze protection, you can up the water in your mix from the stock 50/50 something that helps cool the engine better. For instance, 70/30 water/antifreeze will still protect you from freezing down to about 10F, and will cool the engine better than a 50/50 mix (which freezes way way below zero). Be sure to use the Nissan-brand coolant and Distilled Water.

lol If it got to 10*F here, I literally think half the population would simply freeze to death...

I have alot of stuff I wanna do, just myself and all, my expertise isn't in the engine bay aside from bolt ons. So my thing is I'd like to have someone more knowlegeable around to assist and teach me the stuff (like this) I'm not full up on. I'd have no prob being the student and compensating the teacher lol. As long as they don't mind the searing heat. Of course, for me... Going somewhere else where it's cooler is my best plan.
