Z1 Motorsports 370z/G37 SS Clutch Line NOW AVAILABLE! - $29.00
Everyone,
We are proud to introduce another Z1 Motorsports product for the '09+ 370z and '08+ G37 models! A Stainless Steel Clutch Line is a must have upgrade for any 370z/G37 with an upgraded clutch and/or that sees track usage. This will eliminate the mushy pedal feel, that ALL Z/G's have after installing high clamping force clutches. By eliminating all soft points in your hydraulic system, the increased strength of the SS Braided Clutch line adds to pedal response and feel by preventing the line from expanding and becoming soft when exposed to increased temperatures and pressure. This line also allows for the deletion of an additional 6" of metal clutch tubing found on the side of the bell housing, eliminating a potential leak point in the clutch system. The new Z1 Braided Stainless Steel clutch line features a special vinyl coating that protects it from fraying caused by rubbing or vibrations. The 370Z/G37 clutch line is red in color and is a part that looks as good as it performs. It also comes with a new banjo bolt and 2 copper washers to insure a trouble free install. The Z1 Motorsports 370z/G37 Stainless steel Clutch Line comes with the following:
Z1 Motorsports ONLY recommends the usage of Motul RBF600 Brake/Clutch Fluid for the 370z/G37. You can also purchase the necessary 2 bottles of fluid from our website as well! The Z1 370z/G37 SS Clutch Line Kit starts @ $29.00. You may purchase the kit on our website by following the link below: Z1 Motorsports 370z/G37 SS Clutch Line |

Couple things
The picture has the wrong fitting on one end ... won't work on the 370Z .... 2 female 10mm flare fittings are used. Where is the insulation to prevent heat soak from the exhaust? Quick question: what is the length of the line?

You use the stock insulation.

This line actually deletes the Metal Hard Line on the transmission...thereby deleting the need for the second female 10 mm flare fitting. This line goes directly from the framerail to the slave cylinder.
This is actually a picture of the exact line that was placed on Daisuke149's car. You will reuse the heat shield from your stock line. It is not pictured, but the kits come with 4 small zip ties to resecure the heat shield. Dustin |

So then the line goes from the frame connection, above the exhaust, and then to the transmission?

gonna throw in my $.02 here. i drove Dai's car this weekend (some parts "briskly") and was very impressed with how the clutch pedal felt. after only driving for a few mins i made the comment that his clutch felt the best of any 370 i'd driven so far, and that's been a few now. the ones i had driven previously felt as if they had a bit of play in the clutch pedal, like i couldn't get used to the engagement point of the clutch. as Dai posted above, his car really does feel completely linear and predictable. for such a cheap mod, i highly recommend it based on my driving time.
when are you gonna make one for my truck dustin?
