Z1 SS Brake Lines NOW AVAILABLE @ Z1 Motorsports
Now available from Z1 Motorsports is our Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines for all 370Z and G37 models.
These lines are Black Vinyl coated to not only protect the stainless steel braiding, but to protect the vehicle's chassis from chafing as well. The lines eliminate the OEM Nissan 2-piece rubber lines with a solid 1-piece design. This in turn reduces the number of fittings, further reducing the chances of line failure and leakage. The kits come with all 4 lines to do a complete installation and are a must for anyone looking to gain the full potential out of the brake system. We currently have this exact kit installed on our Project 370Z shop car and have tracked the car numerous times. We have the Z1 SS Brake lines kits instock and ready to ship! The Z1 SS Brake Line Kits for the Nissan 370 Z/ Infiniti G37 can be found on our website, here: Z1 SS Brake Lines Last edited by Dustin@Z1; 06-17-2010 at 09:43 AM. |

I installed these lines, and my braking pressure is very inconsistant. Should they feel this way or should they feel better then stock? It's like the petal goes 1/4-1/2 of the way down before it firms up. I've had the brakes bled twice, going to have Nissan bleed them one last time, if it is still worse then I want my money back. Thanks - Jon

As Dustin stated we have these lines on the shop car at Z1 and after a 370Z Southeast mountain run the technician that drove the car ranted and raved about how good the brakes felt.
I want to blame a small bubble in your lines, suggested in your other post, but we will stand behind our product is there is a defect with a line. Please feel free to give us a call at 770-838-7777 if you would like further help or information. |

!!! JUST RELEASED !!!
Z1 Motorsports is now offering Full SS Brake Line Packages for all '09+ Non Sport Model 370z's as well. Unlike other companies SS Brake Lines kits for the 370z, the Z1 Motorsports kit replaces ALL soft rubber lines with full stainless steel braided hoses. The Non Sport 370z has 4 soft rubber front brake lines whereas the Sport models only have two. In order to reap the full benefits of a Braided Stainless Steel Brake Line upgrade, all lines must be changed over. Combine these lines with a good set of Ceramic Brake Pads and fresh synthetic brake fluid, and you will have created the best, most economical brake upgrade package available (short of a full Sport Akebono Brake Conversion). To check out our full line of 370z parts and accessories, be sure to check out the following link: Z1 Motorsports 370z/G37 Divsion |

I will contact Jon today for a follow up. I too am interested to hear. The last we spoke, he discussed having them bled again. I am not sure if that was the cure or not.

Cool, thanks Dustin. I'm planning on getting these whenever I start doing HPDE's.

NASA has a great program with alot events around the country that are pretty reasonably on prices. Starting out it will be a bit more expensive since you will be provided a ride along instructor. When you do, take FULL advantage of having him/her along with you. Ask as many questions as possible and pay attenion. Are you planning on coming up for our Z Nationals event in late September? If so, we have a HPDE event on Friday that you should get in on. The track we use is very user friendly, with wide grassy run offs in case you get in trouble. We also have instructors on site for beginners/novices, to ride along and help them get accustomed to the track. - Dustin Last edited by Dustin@Z1; 08-11-2010 at 09:11 AM. |

I was already planning on doing HPDE's through NASA, over at Sebring (about 2 hours away). I'm not sure if I'll be ready for doing any HPDE's in September, since I still need to get an Oil Cooler, along with brake pads, and a helmet. Sounds like fun, but the drive would be pretty far.

Ok so I didn't get them re-bled for a third time, but they do feel better now. Maybe driving with them forced more of the bubbles out. One thing that has been concerning me tho and Im not sure if it's the brake lines fault on this one, but lately when I come to a stop my steering wheel will start to shake. It does not happen all the time, but it is pretty annoying when it does happen. I tried researching it online, and I think it might be the rotors. I only have about 11,000 miles or so on the car which makes it even stranger. Any suggestions on what it might be?

Did you replace pads at the same time? If so what pads? Did you do any type of break in procedure for the pads?
