Excellent! Nearly 24 hrs LIVE and we are already up to nearly 30 fans.

I also wanted to update everyone of another feature/purpose of the Z Nationals Facebook Fan Page:

Polls/Questionaires

We will be posting questions from time to time that we would like our fans to answer. The current posted question regards the inclusion of the 1/4 mile drag event on Sunday. Please take a few minutes and cast your vote. Please also note that the results of these questionairs/polls are not final. They are intended to help us understand what the attendees want and think in order for us to make the appropriate decisions that will shape the overall planning of events.

Juat wrapped up posting up over 100 pics from the 2009 Z Nationals event. Stop by and check out some of the past event pictures, if you attended, you might some pics of either you or your car that you did not know existed (which could either be a good thing...or a bad thing )

The 2009 event was the first year for the 370Z at Z Nationals, so there were fewer 370Z's in attendance than in 2010. I did however run across a few pics of RobertA with his Z, Mike and a few others members here on the370z.com which I have added.

More updates coming soon!

Everyone,
We now have information for the hotels for the 2011 Z Nationals!! Since we have moved the track venue for the Little Talladega Gran Prix Track in Alabama to the Atlanta Motorsports Park facility in Dawsonville, Georgia, we have been faced with a new set of challenges concerning logistics and hotels. For the 2011 Z Nationals we are presenting a few options to our attendees as far as hotels arrangements with event hotels both in Bremen, Georgia (Hampton Inn) as well as in Dawsonville, Georgia (Comfort Inn & Best Western). We encourage track participants to strongly consider one of the two available Dawsonville Hotels due to the high possibility of morning traffic in and around the Atlanta area. The two Dawsonville Hotels are only a short 15 minute drive from the Atlanta Motorsports Park complex.

Track Event Hotels (Dawsonville, Georgia):

1) Best Western Dawson Village Inn
Located only 15 minutes from the track, we have secured a discounted group rate for an available ~ 30 rooms at the Best Western Dawson Village Inn at the following rates:

$62.99/ night for a Two Queen Bed Room
$62.99/night for a single King Bed

Rooms include all available hotel amenities including:
  • Free Breakfast
  • Free Wifi
  • Access to the Indoor Pool/Hot tub/Spa
  • Limited Trailer Parking on site. However the hotel does own a grassy lot next to the parking lot to accomodate any large trucks with trailers. All parking lots are covered by 24 Hr securitysurveillance.
  • Rooms are priced at 2 adults. Additional adults are able to stay for an additional $6/adult.
  • Pets are welcome (extra fees may apply)

Address:
76 N. Georiga Avenue
Dawsonville, Georiga 30534

To make a reservation, please call the front desk at: 706 216-4410 and mention that you are with the 2011 Z Nationals Event to recieve the above mentioned rate!!!

2) Comfort Inn - Dawsonville, Georgia
Just like the Best Western Dawson Village Inn, the Comfort Inn is located about 15 minutes from the track. We have again secured a group rate for our attendees. At this time there are roughly 30 rooms available (confirmed rates and room configurations pending)

Expect rates to be with the $65 ~ $75 per night range. We are attempting to negotiate lower rates at this time.

The rates will again include all available amenities which include:
  • Free Wifi
  • Free Local Calls
  • Access to the Outdoor Pool
  • Free Breakfast
  • Large, paved parking lot to accomodate trucks with trailers
  • Non-smoking facility (Smoking rooms are available at a additional $150.00!!)
  • Pet Friendly facility ( Pet size limitations are present. Additional $15.00/per pet/per night. Limit two pets per room)
  • NO ELEVATOR ACCESS TO UPSTAIRS ROOMS! Handicap rooms are available on the lower level.

Address:
127 Beartooth Pkwy
Dawsonville, GA 30534

To make a reservation, call the hotel at: 706 216-1900 and mention that you are with the 2011 Z Nationals event to recieve the above mentioned rate!!!

Both hotels are only about 2 minutes apart and within a few minutes of GA-400 (which provides direct access to Atlanta). Both hotels are also within walking distance of numerous restaurants, diners, etc. BE SURE TO BOOK YOUR ROOM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! There are many festivals, weddings and other events in this area during the late Summer/Early Fall time period, rooms will be disappearing quickly. Secure your room(s) early.

Car Show, Dyno and Awards Banquet (Breman, Georgia):
The Bremen Hampton Inn will remain as one of the primary event hotels as in past Z Nationals events. Located only 20 minutes from the Z Nationals facility, this hotel has played host to many Z Nationals events and is very excited to once again being able to play a part.

Again we are attempting to negotiate rates at this time. We will annouce exact rates within the coming week. Expect rates to be the same or similar to last year!

Amenities Included:
  • Free High Speed Internet
  • Free Breakfast Bar
  • Access to the on site Pool and Spa
  • Limited Parking for Trucks with Trailers
  • Right off of I-20 for quick and easy access to the Douglasville Arbor Place Shopping Mall, Six Flags Over Georgia or Atlanta.
  • Within walking distance of a handful of restaurants and only a few minutes drive to downtown Breman or Carrollton
  • This hotel has been a past favorite for attendees, if you have not been or heard some of the stories. Be sure to ask a Z Nationals veteran.
Address:
28 Price Creek Road
Bremen, Georgia 30110

To make your reservation, call the hotel at 770 537-9001 and again, make sure that you mention that you are with the 2011 Z Nationals event to secure your room at the discounted rate!!

Attendees have a few options and possible configurations available in order to plan their stay for the 2011 Z Nationals event. A few possible configurations that we suggest are:

Option A (Track Day Participants and Z1 Car Show/Dyno Day):Reserve a room at one of the two Dawsonville Hotels for Thursday and Friday night. This wil prevent any headaches with traffic and prevent you from having to relocate to the Breman area for the Saturday event. Attendees who opt to do this will caravan to the Z1 Facility that morning. Average drive time from Dawsonville to the Z1 facility is 2 hrs.

Option B (Track Day Participants and Z1 Car Show/Dyno Day):Reserve a room Thursday nightat one of the two Dawsonville Hotels for and one room at the Hampton Inn in Breman, Ga Friday night. This will again prevent you from having an issues with the Atlanta traffic while attempting to get to the track Friday morning. Attendees will then leave from the Atlanta Motorsports Park facility and caravan to the Hampton Inn in Bremen. This will greatly reduce the drive time Saturday morning from the hotel to the Z1 facility. Average drive time from the Hampton Inn Bremen Hotel to the Z1 facility is 20 mins.

Option C (Track Day SPECTATORS and Z1 Car Show/Dyno Day):Spectators for the Friday Track day can also take part in either Option A or B, however option C will also greatly benefit them aswell since they can arrive later in the morning. Since arrival time at the track is less critical for spectators and support crews, these individuals can opt to book all nights at the Hamption Inn Bremen Hotel. This will eliminate the need to relocate from one hotel to the next after the track event.

Z Nationals attendees who are staying an Saturday night will also need to book a room as well. The above mentioned configurations are suggestions only! We look forward to seeing everyone soon. If you have any questions about any of the information above, be sure to get into contact with Dustin @ Z1 Motorsports (770 838-7777 ext 309) or any of the staff at any of the three hotels.

Yeah...you got a pic of me polishing up my '09 Coupe...too bad you didn't photoshop off some of the weight. Snagged a 2nd place from you guys that year!

That's the car I took across Route 66 all the way to Oatman, Arizona (before scooting up to Las Vegas for a couple of day) in July of that year
