THIS IS FOR A G37 NOT 370Z.
Google Image Result for http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/g...9/600_full.jpg What offset is this? Have a TTG37 and was told its best to stay flush due to amount of wheel power I have. Issue is I want to be aggressive as possible without taking away large amounts of traction. Already installed a Spc camber kit, and have the wheels I want. Work DD.5 19's 9.5 front, and 11 inch rear. What I gathered from doing research is +22 offset front, and +38 offset rear. Just need to have more insight with someone that has a similar setup to the photo that is listed. Fyi more lip the better Thanks Last edited by KratikosG37; 01-07-2015 at 12:44 PM. |

GTFO with your G37, lol
I'd only seen 19x9.5/10.5+22 all around on a G37, and it looked good

Those are decent sized offsets. On a 370z, 19x9.5 +20 and 19x11 +15 is nearly flush running a 245/40 and 305/30. What size tires are you planning on running? |

I thought the goal was to try and stay within factory specs of 30mm and too big of a difference would induce more understeer? 9.5's he can run wider to stay with the 305s. i'm running 265/305 on stock sport rays currently.

going to 60mm difference in width will most likely throw more understeer into the equation.

That's the same width for the front and a 30mm width increase for the rear. |

The wheels on the car referred to by the OP are 20X9.0 +18 F & 20X10.0 +23 R.

I see.
I am not sure why the diameter of the rim will effect the offsets. As long as the width of the rims are the same, the offsets will look the same. I think? Anyway, I thought you needed the question answered in your original post.

Offset will not affect your cars traction. Your contact area with the ground comes from your tires width, not your wheels offset. Offset dictates how far the center of the wheel is from the hub. You want more traction, run a wider tire. You said you plan on running a 275/35 rear which is the stock tire size. You need to be running a 305 at minimum. Your tires are stretched because of putting a 275 on an 11" wheel. Offset has zero to do with that. Last edited by Aviator44; 01-06-2015 at 04:12 PM. |
