Need help with wheel fitment, yes I used google already.

Offset will not affect your cars traction. Your contact area with the ground comes from your tires width, not your wheels offset. Offset dictates how far the center of the wheel is from the hub.

You want more traction, run a wider tire. You said you plan on running a 275/35 rear which is the stock tire size. You need to be running a 305 at minimum.

Depending on offset you have to camber the rear wheels for fitment which wouldn't make it 100% flush on the road. Would it not? Less tire on the road less traction. correct? The car in the photo is -5 offset and have to stretch the tires to get fitment that close to the finder.

I'm using a 275 on a 10.5, may just keep the wheel width the same, being tires are brand new.

Yes you're correct. I'm using a 275 on a 10.5 rear wheel which probably wouldn't hurt if I stepped up to a 305. Well have look into that, may have go back with a 10.5 width.
That would be dependent on your ride height. Are you stock height, lowering springs, coil overs? If you're low enough to scrape fenders then this would need to be factored in for proper clearance.

"Stanced" vs performance is a delicate balance. Are you wanting to stay within factory camber specs?

Tein spring kit with stock shocks on 9.5 front and 10.5 rear. Using the tires that are listed.

Was told by ravspec that it would take away traction using anything less than +38 offset 11inch or +33 offset 10.5inch on rear.



Don't want to stretch the tires, but I do want most lip as possible. It's already lower then factory stands, but I'm ok with it being cambered in a little. +38 11 inch rear with 305/30/19R tire seems like it's the best of both.



Going with the dd5.2

Back on topic. Kami Speed reached out to me after reading this thread, really nice and helpful people.

They're going to get me the wheels I want and speak to Work Japan directly on which face design, and offset that will serves the best with my type of whp.

As of now, +22 F and +35 R on 10.5 inch width using 295's stickys will be the best option. Depending on type of tire may have to do a -1.5 camber for fitment cause stock finders suck.

I'll still obtain 2 inch lip in front and 3.5+ lip in rear. Can live with that.

I clicked your thread thinking it was for specs for a 370z since you have it in the wheels & tires section

If you would have titled it as a G37 thread and posted it in "Other Vehicles" where it belongs I would not have opened the thread

You're right my fault. The G37 written behind my name is confusing and also miss leading.
