If me, I would offer for his oem GTR wheels instead, they fit nicely on the Z and you're getting a set of quality wheels. Someone correct me, but aren't the GT-R wheels forged? I just remember them being very light for 20''.

There are some upatee attitudes here on pretty much about anything on this forum so I say run with 4 steelie donuts if thats what you like chief. Go with the blows here on opinions and dont take anything the wrong way. I do understand that we want the best of the best but sometimes our pocketbooks have us look at what's the best bang for your buck. Kudos on those wheels!

i would sell them

The 20" versions of these wheels are way too heavy and you will notice a performance decrease.

Too many options that are way better quality, lighter, and even cheaper.

I did not notice any difference. I still get to work and back at the same time. Maybe because I chose a lighter then stock tire.

But the world does not revolve around me.

I noticed on a significant heavier cast wheels than my current forged ones

That being said I am a self-professed JDM wheel whore and my opinion will always reflect that. You will never catch me running anything else on my cars :nutswinger:

Are you track racing?
Circuit Racing?
Gumball Racing?
Racing The Stig?
Then what does wheel weight matter?

The OP wants his car to LOOK GOOD, better and different than stock, can't be any clearer than that.

Driftomodachi 12-26-2014 07:20 PM

More unsprung weight = worse gas mileage

JC-Nismo 12-26-2014 07:25 PM

Okaaaaaaaay, buy a Leaf.

Driftomodachi 12-26-2014 07:34 PM

Would you rather:

Go faster and get better gas mileage

Go slower and get worse gas mileage

JC-Nismo 12-26-2014 07:36 PM

I drive a SRT8 and a Nismo, It should be obvious that I'm not concerned too much with gas prices when I drive these things, but for the record, I do drive a SmartCar as my DD.

cooltoy 12-26-2014 07:43 PM

I work in the oil business. Got to use up gasoline for job security.
