Default How to make these fit

I made a foolish mistake of buying a set of wheels without proper research. I assumed the wheels I bought from a fellow member would fit my Z.

Front wheels do not fit because of the sports brake. Using a 20mm spacer, I can get the wheels' face to clear the brake but now I have this problem:

Currently running -1.6 camber front(stock alignment with mild drop). I was told by a wheel repair shop that they can take up to 5mm off the hub. so I'll need to take another 15mm in.

How much of a negative camber do I need to run to make these fit? Anyone dealt with fender pulling/camber thinks this can happen?

I have posted the wheels in FS section in case I can't pull this off

Sell them. There is no making them look good on your Z...what did they come off of?

Sorry man, but don't destroy your Z with these. Work wheels are very popular and you'll get your money back soon. Put your stock wheels back on and continue with the sale as you are.

Sell them. The problem is not the offset but rather the backspace spec. These where built with a non sport in mind. Sorry to hear about the outcome. More wheels are always for sale on the forum.

These are 2 piece correct? If so couldnt you just get new barrels or faces to change the offset?

If they are a real 2 piece one could, but would it be worth the $$ is the question.

no. Just resell them for the same price. Its actually the faces that are causing them not to fit, not the barrels

Unless youd be ok with running -3 to -4 camber up front. Youd probably need to buy front A arms at that point

Im not pointing fingers but if the seller didnt state they were "O disk" then hes a little to blame. Then again you did admit you didnt do your research so even if he did state the disk type it may not have mattered.

Work has their own disk types. O, A, and T disk. O disk gives more of a concave face and wont fit over any break kit accept a base size. A disk should fit over sport or stock akebonos. T disk fits large brake kits making the faces more convex.

If Im incorrect someone chime in and correct me please

Good point, they would still only fit with spacers, even with different barrels. Sell them and move on.

They are welded 2 piece. Meaning you can't just unbolt and replace. I was willing to pay for that but I dont think it's possible.

I didn't ask the question, I just assumed they'll fit
