WORK wheels TPMS

I just bought a set of work wheels, gnosis gs2. They have 2 holes in each barrel. Second hole seems to be for tpms. How can I use my stock sensors in there without the valve sticking out?

I understand that there are adapters available, as well as straps to hold the TPMS on the inside of the wheel.

Talk to your wheel supplier.

Additional hole is for the TPMS sensor and you can mount the oem one there. A portion of the stem will be outside.

Another option is to buy the adapter from Work to mount the senor inside the wheel, but that adapter only fits certain type of Work valve stems.

I used the metal band that wraps around the entire wheel and mount the sensor inside.

Make sure you know where the sensor is installed if it is inside or else it will likely be damaged when you install new tires. I have them installed on the similar location for all the wheels so that I can inform the tire installer in the future.

I dont think I can get the strap around wheel adapter. Any ideas?

I don't understand your question.

The Work adapter attached to your existing stem inside the wheel and the sensor is mounted on the adapter. Here is the link:
TPMS L Shape Adapter Set (For 2 Piece Valvestems)

As for the band, it is a long metal band similar to the clamp for the radiator hose except it is very long and wrap around the inside of the wheel with a bracket to mount the sensor. Just like this one.

hope this helps.

Do you mean I can use the stem and attach the TPMS to that?

If so, what do I do with the second hole in each wheel?

GaleForce 12-14-2014 08:40 PM

The TPMS gets mounted in the second (inner) hole.

Thanks Jason, Do you know how it will look?

that is correct.. the adapter attach to your existing valve stem providing you have the compatible valve stem on the wheel.

you can plug the second hole or mount the sensor there, but it will be sticking outside like you have 2 value stems, and I was under the impression that you don't want that?

Using the secondary holes for the TPMS will save you a lot of headache, and not many, if anyone, will notice. There are a lot more things to pick-on on a car other than the TPMS location. You'll be fine.

i just use a round e-tape over tpms light, works great!! :ugh:

I agree... that's way I would go if my Work wheels came with 2nd hole. Be sure to it is seal well when you install it.

i suppose you can also nitro fill too while you're at it since it has dual valves.. hell why not, waste more money.
