Anyone used these tires

Ok just about have my rims picked out now trying to figure what kind of tire to use has anyone used these Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 or have anything good or bad to say about them just cant seem to beat the price

bullitt5897 10-07-2009 10:07 AM

Go with the V12's they rank really high on performance for such a cheap tire! check out tire rack as well as car and driver. Both of them have done testing and the V12's come out on top when it comes to price and performance.

nogoodname 10-07-2009 10:09 AM

V12's are similarly priced to Falken 452's but the V12's are better, go for it

Caravanshaka 10-07-2009 11:44 AM

Rolling on V12's right now and for the first 150 miles or so that I've had them on, they've impressed me more than the stock RE050's

Can't beat them for the price IMO

JDMFairlady21 10-07-2009 11:44 AM

just mounted the Hankook V12s on a customer car black base on sport 370z... 275/30/19 and 305/30/19 on Volk RE30 19x10 and 19x11 hi metal Bronze.

i'll post feedback and pics in a bit. I'm anxious as to what his feedback would be as well... getting ready to mount the same tires on my Z.

molamann 10-07-2009 12:26 PM

CGMobile370Z 10-07-2009 08:13 PM

DIGItonium 10-07-2009 11:01 PM

I'm planning to order these tires in a few weeks for the Volk wheels on the way from overseas. It'll be a 255/35 and 285/30 setup... gotta get in on that rebate.

CGMobile370Z 10-07-2009 11:28 PM

What sizes are you rolling on?

Minicobra1 10-08-2009 04:56 AM

Just ordered a set from Discount Tire Direct $818 out the door. + will get a $50 rebate off that price.
I went with the 305/30/19 & 255/35/19's

Caravanshaka 10-08-2009 08:49 AM

I paid $725 before rebate for mine, 255/40/19 & 285/35/19

CGMobile370Z 10-08-2009 12:28 PM

if i get the rims i want ill be rolling 265/30/19 & 305/30/19 so i think that was $804 before rebate

The Hankooks are suppose to be a relatively quiet tire. How do you compare the tire noise to the OEMs?

Got the Hankook's in today, (305/30/19 & 255/35/19) going to mount them up tomorrow morning. Man that 305 sure does look wide, I know people have run that size on a 10" rim before, but I sure would prefer a 10.5" or 11".
The outside measurement from bead to bead is 11", 10" on inside.

I'll post a review once I get a few miles on them. I'm running the 20mm spacers out back with 15mm in front, hopefully there will be no rubbing issues with the 305's. Sorry for the bad iphone pic, I had to blow the brightness out so you could see the width of the other tire.

Are you running these on the stock sports package rims? Just wondering if the 305's will fit without the spacers.

CGMobile370Z 10-19-2009 12:34 PM

Mini those 305 look so freaking wide compared to the 275 lol are you mounting them on the stock rims or you getting aftermarket ones

Caravanshaka 10-19-2009 12:35 PM

CGMobile370Z 10-19-2009 12:37 PM
