im thinkin about these for the z but i have no idea about offset got any ideas?
|
I approve.
Perfect fitment is available...they make a 19x9.5 +22 and a 19x10.5 +12, a proven setup for this car. |
People's opinions split when it comes to those wheels, I fall under the category that thinks they're ugly :dunno:

At least we're not talking Sport Max or Konig wheels for once. :eekdance: |

These were the wheels I was planning to get but decided against it. I think 30 mm for the front would be better especially if you get a front camber kit. Later tonight I will post the pic that made me not want these wheels.
The wheels in the pic are work wheels and I think ssr are better looking. |

Oh don't get me wrong protoZ, the offsets on those are nice, I'm just not a big fan of the face, makes the wheels look smaller than they actually are, something I have noticed common among SSR's in general. Take the SSR Type F for instance
http://i642.photobucket.com/albums/u.../temp009-1.jpg I mean, would you actually believe those are 19's? They'd look better on the Z for sure though http://www.more-japan.com/blogs/wp-c...-f-19_z331.jpg |

The pic of it on the 350z made me want to get the ssr but after seeing it on the g37 and more pics on the 350z changed my mind. But if you do get them i recommend 9 inch +31mm hp and 10.5 inch +12mm hp.

With the SP1's you can run a HUGE lip and Low offset in 19's or 20's. 19 x 11 is very doable and so is 19 x 12...
Here are a couple of offset options for you: F:19 x 9.5 MD+10 F:19 x 10 MD+16 R:19 x 10.5 SL+5 R:19 x 11 SL+11 R:19 x 11.5 SL+18 R:19 x 12 SL+24 These offsets should fit just Fine giving you the biggest lip possible on the biggest rim possible. GL  |
Azn- the fitment on teh G are horrible.
professors are one of my fav wheels. with proper fitment and the right drop they are hard to match. |
This is the g37 specs. His specs are pretty aggressive like having 20mm spacers.
19' SSR SP1: 19 9.5 +30 19 10.5 +30 Kumho SPT: 245/40/19 275/35/19 Front: Wheels: 19"x8.5". Cast aluminum. Made for Nissan/Infiniti by Enkei. Weight: 26.5 lbs. The reason the rims look smaller is because of the 2 step lip. If the face/spoke of the rim goes all the way to the lip, the rim looks bigger.

here they are on an rx-7 and they look sick!
|
Trust me they will not look small! I have a local 350z guy here that has them in 19's and they look massive! You really dont appreciate how good they look with a really deep lip until you see it in person. There is an s2000 with them in 18's and they look ridiculous!(in a good way)
If it is that big of an issue go with 20's ;) |

i think the sp1 (and the work meister s1) is one of the alltime wheels, classic deep dish look and sth that wudnt go out of fashion. the actual spokes may look small, but in return, you have a nice looking step-up deepdish look. ace!
|
Type F's and C's are typically for people who track their cars...if you wants to look pretty, these prob arent for you :)
|
I ordered ssr sp1 tonight. It was between te37 and sp1. I wanted a bit more bling so I got a polished step lip and super black coat, which looks like chrome but weighs less. Most people would pick the te37 though. I should have it in a few months.

19 10.5 10mm What size did you get? |
i'm getting 20's 9.5/11.5. they're coming in matte black, but i'm debating on custom powder coating / anodizing..
can't wait to see your sbc! i've seen sp1s in sbc in person, pics don't do it justice, its simply...pimp. |
These are sick wheels. However have you thought of meister s1 3 pc? Both are sick wheels none the less. Can't wait to see pics.
|
The problem I have with meisters is that the spokes looks shorter because it is and makes the wheel look a little deformed.
