The staggered fitment is definitely recommended.
We can build a CV3 20x9 +15 20x10.5 +15 set for the Z that fits flush and well on the car. Its impossible to fit a square setup flush on the Z without running spacers or staggering the offsets. You could run the 20x9 +15 all around, with a 20mm spacer in the rear. This would give you a square setup and the ability to rotate your tires.
