I have to post this out of frustration. As the temps here in Chicago start to drop, the summer tires on the Z become a nuisance. It's 60F here today and a brisk start from a traffic light gets me wheel spin and poor acceleration. I find it incredible how sensitive these summer tires are to temps under about 75F.
I can't help but shake my head at myself as every time another guy in a relatively quick car tries to jump me off the line. They essentially win when it's cold or wet. I can't get the damn car to hook up. ![]() Thoughts? Do I need a set of all-seasons for the spring and fall to bridge the summer and winter tire gap? |
