Lately I'm so tired of people all over saying this combo doesn't fit, it's bad or the sidewall will flex. When mine were first fitted I had a 295 rear and the tire tech asked why would Nissan stretch an OEM fitment. I told them OEM was 285 and they laughed. Had a guy saying on FB that the sidewalls bulge and I posted a pic and asked him to point out the bulge. Then I was the bad guy starting stuff because there was no bulge. It's gonna be interesting because I snagged a second set of rear 15+ Nismo wheels on Ebay and I plan to run a 325 R888R after my new build break in and dyno. Shooting for 700rwhp and it'll be a clean look being able tow switch between the RE11s and the R888R and no one would know the difference unless they really paid attention.

Would love to see someone with this setup on a 15 plus Nismo set! I’m looking at getting a set of 285-35 front and 325-30 rear for my 370z but am a little concerned as I haven’t seen anyone with the tires I’m going with (Michelin pilot sport 4s).

Just pulled the trigger on this set up on my Nismo. Michelin PS4s fit like a champ on stock suspension with Swift lowering springs. No clearance issues at all. In comparison to the factory nismo tires the ride is smother not much road noise and slight difference in feel on the steering but not crazy noticeable.

Why you should use these tires with NISMO Wheels: 285/35R19 (F), 325/30R19 (R)
To anyone running PS4S in these specs on 9.5f/10.5r wheels. Any input on potentially poor steering response? I’m concerned about the slight bulge paired with the PS4S soft sidewalls. Per the post above it doesn’t seem all that bad, but more feedback the better.
Edit: coming from 265/305 RE11s

Do you run with typical 35 psi tire pressure? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On the street, yea. For the track, I'll drop it down to about 30 to start with, then adjust as needed.

Coming back across this thread after finally being ready to put some new rubber on my 2016 stock Nismo, wondering if the people that made the switch to this size are still recommending it? Aiming for PS4S' for the wear, traction, and wet performance living in Florida. I like the look of the bigger tires as well as the mentioned improvement to road noise and less digging into every road imperfection. (Mostly just daily driving and some spirited stuff, no real track time in foreseeable future.)
