The Work VS-XX are my favorite wheels. Excellent choice, can't wait to see some pics on the car!

kenchan 09-24-2014 03:26 PM

why only ET19 on 10.5 when your front is 9.5 ET23?

vividracing 09-24-2014 03:28 PM

Gonna need some 10mm spacers.

kentstuh 09-24-2014 04:38 PM

:icon14: ..... couple of people told me these are the sizing I will need stock suspension and height :shakes head:

aszyd 09-24-2014 04:47 PM

The fronts are good, the rears are going to be set into the fenders a little. Might not be too noticeable at stock height though. VSXX are beautiful wheels. I commend the choice.

GetYourWheels 09-24-2014 04:50 PM

God-Speed 09-24-2014 05:25 PM

They're going on this Saturday along with my stillen front+sides and rear spats. just missing the rear carbon diffusers. :happydance:

after that I will see if how much spacer I will need and maybe/most likely drop it on swifts.

GL with the front. ull want to lower your ride and get 7-10mm spacers on the rear.
those are good offsets for 350Z/G35C

you'll want to lower the car for sure. thats wat im saying. then the fitment should look good. youll have too much front poke at stock height. after you lower, the rear will then have a lot of camber so you'll want to push it out 7-10mm.

nothing wrong with lowering a car for dressup. i do it all the time for dressup cars.

virtuosoondis 09-27-2014 11:05 AM

Was bout to say super nice but should of went with something more aggressive on rear.youll need a 10mm spacer.nice choice though bro

kentstuh 09-28-2014 11:41 PM

update... sigh.. was suppose to had my wheels and tires installed this Saturday but america tires sold my fronts without telling me. Now I gotta wait a little longer.

But I did get my car back from the body shop auto explosion. I am 99% happy with the job.

So.. anyone know which 10mm wheel spacer I should get?

Waiz 09-29-2014 12:01 AM

Are you having Americas Tire install the tires?

Be careful if you are

:ugh2: yeah.... but the america tire by my place are friendly... lol

makstraw 09-29-2014 01:16 PM

I wouldn't be putting these on your car until Your low… I hope you have Front Upper Controls, Rear Camber arms and Coilovers on the way… If not, this setup will look ridiculous. Nice choice on wheels though. Unfortunately, Id be returning these before you get them mounted, or go thru with mounting and run spacers.

GL man :tiphat:

makstraw 09-29-2014 01:19 PM

Id like to reiterate, if you haven't mounted these, Id be trying to send them back…. Id hate myself for not doing enough research on offsets, spend a buttload of money on these, and then not be happy.

Austonian 09-29-2014 02:42 PM

^what? thats terrible advice.

Nice wheels man, dont let people tell you what you need to do.

kentstuh 09-29-2014 03:00 PM

!? dang guys..... now i am really confused. some people told me these will fit. some said these are the offset i need. some said my fronts are fine but just need spacers for the rears. sigh... now i am really stressing it.
help and advice my z peeps!

Waiz 09-29-2014 05:44 PM

I have no idea where people are assuming that you need anything aggressive with those specs

I would not even bother to buy spacers until you get them mounted and only then if you can determine they need them should you invest in some

You have what I would deem as the ideal setup for a Z33 or Z34 (as long as it clears your brake calipers)

I would even go as far as saying that the setup would look fine even on stock suspension given that you are choosing to run a fatter tire

Honestly, in my own personal opinion, I think you should put the tires on the wheel, put the wheel on the car, lower the car to where you want it, get it aligned to where you want it, THEN look into how much room you have to push your wheels out using spacers. If anything, you might not even need spacers depending on your own personal tastes and preferences.

FairladyZ10PG 09-29-2014 06:08 PM

With the right drop and camber setting, they will look good.

I have a similar setup and I'm dropped on KWs except my rear is +7 offset (after 15mm spacers of course & SPC camber kit).

Can't wait to see the final result.

p.s. I've also had America's tire mount my tires and they've done great (four times to be exact).

Just make sure you kindly ask the installer to be extra careful and let them know those wheels are expensive if they can't tell already :)

For the rear yes. I'm assuming you're asking once you lower the car.

R.K.

kentstuh 10-08-2014 01:00 PM

yeah its gonna get lowered next week on swifts.
so I should just get the rears only?

after the springs settles or at the same time?

AdamRacer 10-08-2014 01:11 PM

I waited about a week for the springs to settle in before I had my rear SPL camber arms installed. After the alignment my fronts were close enough that I haven't changed anything up front.

dope! thanks for the info

Waiz 10-08-2014 05:06 PM

Setup looks perfect, I again have no idea why people were giving you false info prior

You can roll with rear camber arms only with those springs, any lower and you will need to get the fronts as well.

You don't need to wait to get the camber arms installed, just have them do it at the same time that the springs are getting installed and have them align it as well. Spring "settling" is a myth.

FairladyZ10PG 10-08-2014 06:18 PM

+1 on rear camber kit
