Help!
So I bought wheels from a member on here. I asked questions about his setup and he informed me that no spacers were needed. I forgot to ask the most important question. Do you have sport brakes? So I dismount and remount the wheels, the rears go on fine. The fronts go on also, but as the guy is backing my car out of the bay the wheels catch my calipers I had already paid for mount and dismount and the place was closing so I kept the Forgestars on the rear 19X12 I believe but mounted the sport wheels on the front until I can get spacers. The rears are 275's and the fronts are 235's so as you can imagine my car is nose diving. Anyway I drive off and my instrument cluster goes crazy. The key light, ABS, VDC SES like every light is on. The speedometer doesn't move but the rev's do. REV match isn't working either and it sounds like the fan is constantly running. What happened to my car? Is it because the difference in wheels? Should I wait until I get the proper size tires and then reset the ECU? cars drives like SH*t now.

Also. The car won't turn off on the first try. I have to push the button at least 3 times before the engine will shut off..wtf?!

275 on a 12" rim?! That must be stretched like a bish. I wouldn't doubt that the change in rear diameter has affected all of the VDC systems, causing the problems you mention.
You could try unplugging the battery to clear any codes, but I'm not sure that is going to "fix" the problems.

Do you have tpms in the rear wheels?
What size sidewalls? It does have to do with your tires. When I temporarily ran a taller sidewall than stock in the rear. 275/45. The same thing occurred to me. The speed sensor couldn't get a clean read. |

The rears have them the front dont. The fronts are 235 and rear are 275. So I should be good once the wheels are closer in spec and all tpms are back? Thanks for the replies

What are your wheel and tire specs?
You only the rear width but no offset, front width, or tire aspect ratio What style wheels did you get? i'm surprised they didn't clear your brakes |

Sorry. Currently the stock sport rays are mounted up front no tpms on 225/35/19. The front will be 19x10 forgestar f14. The current rear is 19x12. On 275/35/19
Forgestar specs are front -19. Rear +7.

I think we all got that? Got anything to help out though? They obviously fit on a z. I just need to know if this is the reason my car is acting up

So you went from the stock 19x9 +47 to a 19x10 -19 in the front with a 225/35/19 tire? I wouldn't think these would even fit. 78 mm more poke than stock. Moves away from the strut almost 54 mm. Diameter of tire Is down 38 mm. Tire would very stretched. Rears went from the stock 19x10 +30 to a 19x12 with a + 7 with a 275/35/19? That's 48.4 mm more poke than stock. Tire would be very stretched |

Only thing really different is I have sport brakes. Will a spacer solve my issue? What would you do?

I would believe those rims are actually 19x10 +19.
None of what your are saying makes sense though. With the 19x10 and either a-19 or +19, your wheel is moving away from the caliper. You should have clearance. Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit If your wheel hit the caliper who knows what damage he did. |
