Thoughts on these newer Weds?
4 Attachment(s)
Im about to order these Weds and was wondering what people thought about high spoked wheels on Z's I personally liked them which is why Im about to order them. They are also lighter than the stock rays at 22.2 lbs for 19 x 9.5 and 22.9 lbs for 19x 10.5.
They are a dark bronze/black/gunmetal color. I would have the exact same setup but my Z is white and I have 5 mm wider spacers on the rears. Same drop. |
If you like them then you should get them. Don't listen to what anyone else has to say about it.

I'm a practical guy. I hate spending a lot of time washing wheels of brake dust. I went with a classic 5 spoke wheel for that reason. 15 spokes would drive me insane.
|
Those look great! They remind of of the RS05RRs.
We actually just became an official retailer of Weds, so I can get you a set! |
I think they look cool, but would not want to be the one cleaning them all the time.
|
waaaaay too many spokes for me. would look okay on a rally car.. or a bicycle
|
I appreciate the honesty lol

I'll have to agree with kenchan.
But not the worst wheel I have seen. http://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...27772435_o.jpg http://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.ne...62c959afa2f3e2 |
I personally like them
|
my thoughts? = i'd get something else
|
I think they look great.

I too have been eye balling the 15R now that I've excluded the 55M as the spokes on 55M poke out from the rim a bit too much. These have a flush viewpoint from the side of Z. The 15R has grown on me over the last two days looking between the two types I'm considering.
Shawn at Vivid Racing is the go to guy !! |

If you are going to get this mult-spoked style wheel I would try to get a more concave set then these Weds that you listed
If they don't come in a more concave style (normally in the wider widths) then I would order a set of the Enkei RS05RR's http://www.jdmeuro.com/wp-content/up..._RS05RR_04.jpg http://www.jdmeuro.com/wp-content/up..._RS05RR_03.jpg Your other option is to go for the new SSR GTV-02's which also come in a more concave face in the wider widths. Only problem is that you would have to go 19x9.5 (+20) all around http://www.ssr-wheels.com/gallery/im...0_gtv02+01.jpg http://www.ssr-wheels.com/gallery/im...0_gtv02+04.jpg |
I like them bro. The bronze stands out
|
If you like them get them. They look good. Also, throw kenchan on your ignore list. You will thank me.

thanks for the laugh  waizz- i dont think the concavity is the problem on those weds. they have plenty of concavity. |

The spokes on the weds look ...unorganized?... is the best way I can put it. The RS05RR looks better in comparison & would be my choice between the two.
|
Are the RS05RR available in 19?

|
Dang, why are most good wheels only available in 18s or 20s... 19s gets no love
